Tools and Equipment

The Innovative Minds Academy has a variety of low-tech and high-tech tools and equipment.

Tools, equipment, and areas of the Academy marked with a green dot or tape do not require any specialized training or orientation.

Tools, equipment, and areas of the Academy marked with a yellow dot or tape require you to sign a Makerspace User Agreement and to complete a mandatory equipment usage and safety orientation.

Tools, equipment, and areas of the Academy marked with a red dot or tape require you to sign a Makerspace User Agreement and to complete a mandatory equipment usage and safety orientation

Operation of these tools and equipment is restricted to the Staff.

By signing the signature form you acknowledge that you have read this document and will abide by the Code of Conduct and Safety Guidelines outlined herein.

The tools and equipment available in the Academy fall into one of these categories:

1. 3D Printers

2. CNC Routers

3. Sewing Machines

4. Soldering Equipment

5. Electronics: Arduino, Raspberry Pi, LittleBits,, and Lego Kits.

6. Arts and Crafts: Button Maker, Vinyl Plotter, and miscellaneous craft materials and supplies.

7. Video and Photography: Cameras & Accessories and Multimedia workstations with a variety of software.

By adhering to these expectations, you contribute to the positive and enriching environment at  Innovative Minds Academy. We believe that your commitment to these standards will help you  achieve your academic goals and make the most of your learning journey with us.
